International Day of People with Disability: Push to reject ‘old-fashioned perceptions’

Disability advocates are calling for old-fashioned attitudes to be dispelled as part of today’s International Day of People with Disability.

The United Nations’-sanctioned day aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and wellbeing.
