NDIS July 2015 Quarterly Report summary

According to the latest NDIS Quarterly Report, 19817 people have become participants in the NDIS, and more than 17,300 people now have individualised plans across seven trial sites around the country.

The number of people with an approved plan increased 3693 since March 31st and a total of $952.8 million has been committed for support so far.

The cost of the average package is $33, 597 – compared to $34,907 last quarter and well within the expected average of $36, 750 when the scheme is fully rolled out.

It’s great to see that 95 per cent of people with disability who’ve participated in the trial sites said they found the NDIS planning process to be “good” or “very good”.
