The NDIA (the agency responsible for building the NDIS) has released its first annual report.

Some key stats:

• 7316 plans for people with disability
• $34,600 average package costs for financial year
• 13.3 days taken to determine participant eligibility (Jan-Jun)
• The most common funded supports were communications and self- care.
• The largest cohort of NDIA trail site participants are people with intellectual disability or autism.
