NDIS Make it Work forums postponed

We do not do this lightly. But we think it is the responsible and sensible thing to do in light of the continuing spread of the Coronavirus.

We believe the forums are an important way for people with disability and their families to have their voice heard. But they are in no way essential. We do not wish to increase people’s risk of exposure by bringing everyone together unnecessarily at this time.

We are a community of people with disability, their families and people who work in the sector. Everyone’s health and wellbeing will always be our first priority. We will always look out and care for each other. We will find ways to do this even if we cannot meet face to face.

We will reschedule the forums when we think it is OK to do so. We also hope very much that the NDIA CEO Martin Hoffman will still be able to join us when we do.

In the meantime, we are planning some ways to have our say on the NDIS even though we cannot all get together. So please stay in touch so you can find out how you can take part.

We know you will be disappointed – we are too. But we think it is the right thing to do. And we appreciate your understanding and support.
