Meet the Every Australian Counts Champions

The Champions are our campaign spokespeople representing the vibrant and diverse Every Australian Counts community. They are the voices of the campaign and they’re already meeting members of parliament, community leaders, and speaking to the media on behalf of all of us.

The Champion’s focus is to deliver the message that the NDIS needs to be fully funded and fixed. Together with our community, they’ll make sure our voices are heard loud and clear and we get the NDIS we’ve been fighting for.

About the NDIS

What is the NDIS?

NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme. It is the new way of providing support to people with disability in Australia.

The NDIS provides people with disability with the support they need to live an ordinary life.

Unlike previous systems, the NDIS provides people with disability with the choice of how, when and where that services and support are delivered to them. They are in the driver’s seat, and can choose what works best for them.
