Too little understanding of what having an Intellectual disability means. Eligibility is that you have a permanent disability , yet time and time again packages are reduced because a participant has only made “minimal progress” Permanent means just that and you will require support and therapy permanently ! Does my head in that the LAC’s and planners don’t seem to understand this and create huge stress for families as each review time approaches as to what they will be allocated in the new plan.
