Queensland Govt to roll out NDIS trial sites for disabled youth

The Queensland Government has announced it will roll out the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Townsville, Charters Towers and the Aboriginal community at Palm Island from early next year.

Queensland Disability Minister Coralee O’Rourke says Townsville, Charters Towers and Palm Island were chosen to reflect the challenges that the state faces with a large population living outside of the south-east corner.
