Nothing will stop James

JAMES Hamilton is like any other 27-year-old. He wants a job, to get married and have his own family.

The Urangan man has learning difficulties and Kabuki Syndrome, which affects about one in 32 births and causes dislocations, heart defects, and hearing problems.

But he won’t let anything get in his way.

James won the Fraser Coast Art Affair People’s Choice Award in 2013 and sells his work locally, including to Fraser Coast Mayor Gerard O’Connell.

He is also on the committee for Art Affair, which showcases Fraser Coast artists with disabilities.
