NDIS confusion in Victoria as state and federal governments yet to agree on details

There is confusion about how the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will work in Victoria and concern it may not be delivered on time, disability advocates and service providers say.

A national rollout of the scheme is due to begin in July next year, following the completion of a trial in the Barwon region of Victoria, which began in July 2013.

However, disability advocates are concerned the state and federal governments have not yet signed a funding agreement for the rollout, and the details of what would be included remained unclear.
