Hunter NDIS trial led to “much tweaking”

The Disability Services Minister says many lessons have been learned from the Hunter’s NDIS trial, and changes have been made.

John Ajaka acknowledges many found it difficult getting information and signing up for the national disability insurance scheme when it started in the region more than two years ago.

Mr Ajaka said there is still more to learn.

“Over the two-year period, much tweaking has occurred,” he said.
