Disability insurance program changing lives for fortunate few in WA trial sites

Around 2,700 people living south of Perth will have access to individualised support with the launch of an additional National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) trial site on July 1.

The NDIS My Way program is a trial unique to Western Australia and is being run in addition to the commonwealth NDIS trial already running in Perth.

The My Way program was devised by the state government, with the aim of comparing it to the commonwealth NDIS trials at the end of the trial period and to determine which is the best model.
