Cabinet functioning ‘exceptionally well’, says leaked document
The political row over cabinet leaks entered the realm of low farce on Wednesday when briefing notes – telling ministers to respond to questions about cabinet processes by saying they were “functioning exceptionally well” – were leaked.
The leak – first reported on afr.com – came amid more revelations about federal cabinet’s thin agenda in the past week, and revelations about what items cabinet discussed on Monday night – including a yet to be signed multibillion-dollar agreement with NSW on funding the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
