The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is changing – and with a Federal election on the horizon, its future is in the spotlight.

Every Australian Counts, alongside 254 organisations, has called on the government to take the time for proper co-design the upcoming changes  to the scheme. People with disability, their families, and advocates all agree: the NDIS must be strong, fair, and built with the people who rely on it every day.

With the Federal election approaching, we need to understand what our political leaders are offering and make sure the voices of people with disability are heard. 

Join us for a special Pre-Election Forum with Minister for the NDIS, Hon. Amanda Rishworth MP, to hear firsthand about the government’s vision for the NDIS – and to ask the questions that matter most to you.

This is your opportunity to hear directly from Minister for the NDIS, Hon. Amanda Rishworth MP, about the government’s priorities for the NDIS. The Minister will join us for the first 30 minutes to share insights and respond to key questions.

After that, the session will open up for community Q&A, giving you the chance to raise your concerns, share your experiences, and discuss what matters most to you. You’ll also hear from the Every Australian Counts Steering Committee, who will speak about the ongoing campaign to protect and strengthen the NDIS, and how you can get involved in the fight to defend our rights.
