NDIS Roll Out Continues on Target

More than 19,700 people are signed on to the National Disability Insurance Scheme, with more than $1.2 billion invested in services and equipment, according to the latest Quarterly Report released Thursday.

The National Disability Insurance Agency said these figures show that the NDIS is being delivered within time and budget targets, benefiting people with disability, their families and carers. Overall, 22,960 participants were eligible for the scheme; 109 per cent of the target.

Of this number 19,758 participants had their plan approved, which is 94 per cent of the target and an increase of 2,455 plans since last quarter.
