Reminder -Mclucas/Shorten NDIS forum : Perth Town Hall tomorrow
A quick reminder for WA supporters about the NDIS forum being held tomorrow in the Perth town Hall tomorrow with Senator Jan Mclucas, the Hon. Bill Shorten and Graeme Innes the Disability Discrimination Commissioner. This will be an excellent chance to get the latest information about the progress of the NDIS and NIIS and at least half the time will be spent in public consultation.
Its at the Perth Town Hall cnr Barrack & Hay Sts in the city from 10.00 am – 12.00 pm. If you haven’t registered already please rsvp to kayannie.denigan@fahcsia.gov.au including your name, email & phone number.
Re transport please follow this link to find out about access to the town hall. http://www.accesswa.com.au/Pages/Feature.aspx?FeatureID=2048 If you are dropping passengers off or being dropped off there will be three parking spaces on the Barrack St side of the Town Hall – this is for drop off only – you will need to park your car elsewhere for the duration of the forum
If you’re taking public transport please note that there are red and blue CAT buses that you can catch from outside the Perth Railway station. The Blue Cat will drop you off very close but please be aware that they travel in a big loop that can take up to 20 mins.
Lastly let’s have a show of strength and wear our Every Australian Counts t shirts. If you haven’t got one already come and see me – Geraldine Mellet the EAC WA coordinator at the Town Hall (I will have a table with materials) and Ill give you one on the spot.
