March for the NDIS at Pako Festa Geelong
Every Australian Counts will be marching for the National Disability Insurance Scheme in Geelong’s Pako Festa parade on this Saturday February 25,2012, and we want you to join us!
This is a wonderful opportunity to show the community that the NDIS has widespread support as the Pako Festa is celebrating its 30thanniversary this year and the crowds are likely to be big.
The Pako festa is all about celebrating diversity and culture and we are calling on people to join Every Australian Counts at the parade, show the rest of the community that we need the NDIS and make the most of this opportunity.
Details of the event:
Saturday February 25, 2012
- 9.30am Meet at Karingal 151 Pakington Street Geelong West (parking available at rear of building)
- 9.45am Walk as a group to the marshalling area
- 11.00am March in the Pako Festa Parade
- 12 noon onwards you are free to enjoy the Pako Festa or head home
Please wear a red shirt to show your support and bring a hat, water bottle and sunscreen.
