Caroline’s message

My ten year old son has autism, has no language and is not toilet trained. We would like to be able to use funds to help him without having to jump through hoops and cut through layers of red tape. We also want to secure his future. What will happen to him when we are too old to look after him, or if we die? We feel sick to the stomach when we read about abuse of intellectually disabled people in state funded homes. These people deserve to live with love, care and respect, especially when they do not have family to support them. So much more needs to be done. Please help by introducing a fair and just system of funding for families like ours.
