I Count

Angela’s message

Consider support for children with a learning disorder. Their IQ is average to above. Many end up on centrelink and drugs as not diagnosed and in Australia, there is little support. Overseas,a number of countries, such as the US, have special schools for these children or they provide significant additional teacher support to sit with the child in school and provide the extra support. They can go on to university, if given a diagnosis and intervention from very early (early primary school). Save tax payers money long term by investing early and allowing them to become taxpayers not welfare dependents.
